The word teacher is used frequently interchanged with master, and many times applied to Jesus in the New Testament (Mt 8:19; Lk 9:38). Nontheless, He has placed some to be teachers within the body.

The Pastor is the religious shepherd or leader of a Church congregation. The word is used only in Eph 4:11 but found frequently in the Hebrew and Greek texts and usually translated as shepherd. Christ is the "Good Shepherd," and all Pastors are follow His example in tending to the Flock.
